Arieseni comune is located in Bihor Mountains, at an altitude of 800-1000m on the Arieș Valley, in Arieșeni depression.
This settlement in the Tara Moților was historically attested for the first time in 1909. Presently Arieșeni comune is dwelt by 1860 inhabitants and is a mountain resort popular among ski and hiking lovers.
As a summer destination, in Arieșenithere are plenty of remarkable tourist attractions for hikers and cyclotourists to enjoy.
